I wanted to reach out and tell you about a project I am overseeing. It is the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
We love to support this ministry because not only do they care for the physical needs of children and their families, but they also share the Gospel with each shoebox and do follow up discipleship classes.
I will be heading up the packing of 150 boxes in the KidZone building on Saturday, Nov. 12th at 4:30 P.M.
If you are looking for a project your group can be a part of, I’d love for you to join in. Please RSVP with a number of how many of your group will be attending. If you are unable to attend, you can still collect things from now to then. There is a list of items they suggest to purchase for the boxes that you can use. If we have people buy items in bulk, it will be much easier to set up an assembly line that day and easily pack them up.
All age groups are welcome, and we look forward to being able to fellowship together. We will have a time of prayer all together afterward as we ask God to mightily spread the Gospel among people of all nations.
Any questions, suggestions, or wanting to help organize—feel free to reach out to me.
